How sending with a traveler works

Questions about Spain → Argentina

+What if no traveler offers on my request?
Your request stays visible until its deadline, and travelers who post a trip between Spain and Argentina are alerted to it. Flights are long and not daily for everyone, so give a realistic date; you can raise the reward or extend the date from the request page. Nothing is charged until you accept an offer.
+Does it work from Argentina to Spain too?
Yes. Post your request or your trip in the direction you need: the city pages here are listed Spain → Argentina, but travelers fly both ways and both are welcome. Spain → Argentina requests are often electronics and clothes; Argentina → Spain requests vary from one traveler to the next.
+Valija, maleta, encomienda: what do you call it?
Whatever you like. In Argentina people talk about bringing things in the valija or sending an encomienda; in Spain it is a maleta or a paquete. On YourPoste it is the same request: what it is, where it goes and the reward you offer.
+Can a traveler buy something in Spain and bring it to Argentina?
Yes. Post a buy request with a link or a description and your maximum price. A traveler flying to Argentina buys it, keeps the receipt and brings it. You pay the item price (or a deposit), the reward and the service fee in the app; the money is held until delivery. The item travels as personal luggage, so one unit, not a batch.
+Do customs duties apply to a parcel carried Spain → Argentina?
The parcel travels in the traveler’s own luggage, so the personal-luggage rules of Argentina apply: personal items in small quantities, nothing in commercial quantities, and the traveler may have to declare what they carry. YourPoste does not promise duty-free entry; if customs charges apply, they are between you and the traveler. Describe the contents honestly so the traveler can decide.
+What can a traveler refuse to carry?
Anything. Travelers see the description and the photos before they offer and check the item at pickup. Liquids over 100 ml in cabin luggage, loose batteries, perishable food, cash, medicines without a prescription and anything restricted by the rules of Argentina or the airline are not carried.
+How is my payment protected?
You pay by card in the app after accepting an offer. The money is held, not passed to the traveler, until the delivery code you give at handover is entered, or until the YourPoste team settles a dispute. Phone numbers are only shared once the deal is paid.
+What does it cost, and what does the traveler keep?
As a sender you pay the reward you set plus a 10% service fee: a €30 reward costs €33 in total. In buy & bring mode the fee also covers 2.5% of the item amount, plus card processing. The traveler receives the reward minus a 3% commission, sent by YourPoste to their bank account (IBAN) or PayPal after the delivery code is entered.

Built so both sides can trust the deal
