YourPoste is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects senders with travelers. We are not a shipping company. We do not deliver anything ourselves and we are not a party to any agreement between users.
Short version: be 18+, be honest, only carry or send legal items, follow the law, be respectful. If you wouldn't carry it in your own suitcase, don't ask someone else to.
YourPoste ("the Platform") is a commercial brand operated by POSTRAVELER, S.L., a Spanish limited liability company, holding NIF B-26947879, with registered office at Calle Pintor Maella 11, 2º, puerta 8ª, 46023 Valencia, Spain ("YourPoste", "we", "us", "our").
For all purposes under these Terms (general queries, data protection requests, DSA notices, security reports) you can reach us at contact@yourposte.com. Please use a subject-line tag so we route the message correctly:
This address is also the single point of contact required under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act). Languages of communication: Spanish, English, French.
By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to every user and constitute a legally binding agreement governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence if you are a consumer established in another EU or EEA country.
You may use YourPoste only if:
YourPoste is an information society service under Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and an online platform within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). We provide the technology that connects senders and travelers.
YourPoste is NOT:
The contract for the carriage, purchase, or delivery of any item is concluded exclusively between the sender and the traveler. YourPoste is not a party to it.
You may create an account with email + password or through Google OAuth. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity on your account.
Uploading a photo is optional. By uploading, you confirm that you hold the rights to the image and grant YourPoste a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform for the sole purpose of operating the service. We may remove photos that are offensive, misleading, or depict an identifiable person without their consent.
We operate an optional identity-verification flow where you can upload an identity document and a selfie. Review is performed manually by our administrators; we do not run automated biometric comparison. Verification does not turn YourPoste into a trusted third party — meeting another user in person is still at your own risk. Processing of verification data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Senders must:
Travelers must:
All users agree to:
A Deal is one order matched with one accepted offer. The normal stages: order created → trip created → offer sent → offer accepted → deal created → in-app chat enabled → pickup → delivery → OTP verification → both parties confirm → deal complete → reviews.
Technical limits apply to maintain Platform integrity — typically one accepted offer per order, one open offer per traveler per order.
Any attempt to list, carry, or request a prohibited item will result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement under Article 18 of the Digital Services Act.
Verification is the user's responsibility in every relevant jurisdiction. YourPoste does not inspect, verify, or approve items.
You remain responsible for the content you post — order descriptions, trip details, messages, reviews, profile photos, support requests.
You must not post content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate for the Platform.
We may remove, disable, or limit access to content or accounts where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud, enforce these Terms, or protect the Platform. When we do, we will provide a Statement of Reasons under Article 17 of the Digital Services Act — describing what was affected, on which basis, and how you can appeal — unless law prevents us from doing so.
The Platform chat is the primary communication channel for deals. You must not use it to send spam, threats, illegal content, off-platform solicitations, or commercial promotions.
YourPoste personnel may access, review, and store chat messages strictly for platform safety, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations, and enforcement of these Terms. We do not use message content for advertising or share it with third parties except as required by law. This processing is described in our Privacy Policy; our lawful basis is your contractual acceptance of these Terms combined with a documented legitimate-interest assessment.
For chat messages in pre-deal conversations, the Platform automatically redacts phone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram references from the push-notification preview to reduce accidental leakage of personal contact details — a privacy-by-design measure under GDPR Article 25.
Sharing contact details (phone, email, social media) with another user is at your own risk. YourPoste does not facilitate, monitor, or assume responsibility for any off-platform communication, meeting, or exchange, including via WhatsApp, phone, email, or in-person.
Any person may notify us of allegedly illegal content on the Platform by emailing contact@yourposte.com with `[DSA Report]` in the subject, or by using the Report button in the app. Notices should include:
We will acknowledge receipt, process notices diligently and non-arbitrarily, inform both the notifier and the affected user of our decision, and provide a Statement of Reasons with appeal routes (DSA Article 17). Where we have knowledge of an imminent threat to life or safety, we will notify the relevant authorities under DSA Article 18.
After a Deal is completed, users may leave a review. The review system is double-blind: both reviews remain hidden until both are submitted (or a deadline passes).
Reviews must be honest, factual, and lawful. Fake, manipulated, retaliatory, or coordinated reviews are prohibited. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms, and the affected user will receive a Statement of Reasons under Article 17 of the Digital Services Act and a route to appeal at contact@yourposte.com.
YourPoste charges two platform fees: a sender-side service fee and a traveler-side commission. Both are platform fees retained by YourPoste.
Sender-side service fee — paid by the sender at checkout on top of the agreed reward and any item-coverage amount. Presented as a single combined line in the order summary and calculated as follows:
Traveler-side YourPoste commission — 3% of the agreed reward, retained by YourPoste and deducted from the traveler's payout. The commission applies equally to ship and buy-and-bring orders, and is calculated on the agreed reward only — not on any item-coverage amount, which is reimbursed in full to the traveler. If a deal is cancelled before payout, no commission applies; if a delivered deal is later disputed, refund treatment follows §13.3.
As a traveler, you receive the agreed reward minus the 3% YourPoste commission, plus reimbursement in full of any item-coverage you advanced. The sender-side service fee is paid by the sender to YourPoste and is never deducted from your payout.
When a sender accepts an offer, payment is processed through our payment provider and held in escrow. Funds remain held until delivery is confirmed by the sender entering the OTP code shown to the traveler at handoff, except in the buy-and-bring situation described in §13.3.1. Once the OTP is verified, the traveler's payout — the agreed reward minus the 3% YourPoste commission, plus reimbursement of any item-coverage they advanced — is sent to their configured payment method (SEPA bank transfer or PayPal) within 1–3 business days.
Deals cannot be cancelled by users on their own. If you need to cancel — for example, the traveler informs you they can no longer deliver, the item is unavailable, or another issue arises — contact our team at contact@yourposte.com or via in-app Support. Our team handles each request individually.
When a deal is cancelled or does not complete:
Refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. If a delivery fails after handover or is disputed, our team reviews the case and decides the refund based on the evidence from both sides.
Buy-and-bring orders differ from ship orders in one important way: the traveler buys the article with their own money before delivering it. Once that purchase has been made, cancelling the order cannot simply undo it. This section sets out who receives the item-coverage amount in that situation.
The dividing line is proof of purchase.
The reward and the YourPoste service fee are treated separately under §13.3 and §13.1 in both cases.
Payment to the traveler in this situation is arranged by our team rather than released automatically, because no delivery confirmation exists to release it. If you are a traveler and you believe this applies to your order, contact us at contact@yourposte.com or via in-app Support — this situation is not detected automatically, and the payment is arranged by hand rather than through the app's normal payout flow. As with any other payout, the traveler must have a payout method configured on the My Earnings page.
What counts as abandoning an order. You have abandoned a buy-and-bring order if, after the traveler has purchased the article and marked it as delivered in the app:
You will receive reminders from us during the 7-day period, including a notice before it expires. If you tell us within that period that there is a problem with the article, the order is treated as a dispute and not as abandonment.
Proof of purchase. Proof of purchase means a receipt or equivalent evidence of the article's purchase, uploaded by the traveler through the app. A traveler who does not provide proof of purchase cannot rely on this section, and the item-coverage amount is refunded to you under §13.3.
Other outcomes. Where an article can be returned to the retailer, or where another resolution is more appropriate, our team may agree an alternative with the traveler on a case-by-case basis. Such arrangements are at our discretion and are not an entitlement of either party under these Terms.
We may decline to apply this section where we have reasonable grounds to believe the order, the purchase, or the abandonment was not genuine.
Travelers configure their payout method (bank IBAN or PayPal email, plus account holder name) on the My Earnings page before receiving their first payout. Payout details can be changed at any time from the same page when no payout is in progress. We store the minimum data needed to send the payout; see our Privacy Policy for details.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU / EEA, paid transactions comply with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal where applicable.
The Platform — including the name YourPoste, logos, design, software, and documentation — is owned by or licensed to POSTRAVELER, S.L. and protected by intellectual property law.
User-generated content (listings, messages, reviews) remains the property of the user who created it. By posting content you grant YourPoste a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt, and use that content strictly to operate the Platform, secure it, moderate it, and comply with legal obligations. You may revoke this licence by deleting the content or your account, subject to our retention obligations for dispute, legal-defence, or regulatory purposes.
We may apply verification, ranking, fraud-prevention, and moderation measures to protect users and the Platform. These measures are aids, not guarantees of legality, safety, identity, or performance. Users must still exercise their own judgment.
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by solely automated means (GDPR Article 22). Our proximity-matching engine is an information tool; every offer, acceptance, and completion is your decision.
Users are solely responsible for:
YourPoste does not provide customs, tax, or legal advice. Primary corridors include Spain ↔ Morocco, Europe ↔ North Africa, and Europe ↔ Latin America; each has distinct rules.
Travelers operating between Morocco and Europe must strictly observe the Moroccan Office des Changes regulations on currency export, the Moroccan customs rules on commercial quantities of goods, and parallel EU rules on undeclared cash entering or leaving the Union. YourPoste will cooperate fully with Moroccan and EU customs and law-enforcement authorities in any investigation concerning smuggling, undeclared currency, or commercial circumvention.
YourPoste is a neutral technical intermediary. We do not inspect, handle, insure, or direct any transaction. We do not act as a carrier.
Nothing in this Section 17 limits or excludes our liability for:
Subject to Section 17.3 and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) 100 EUR, or (b) the total fees you paid YourPoste in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify YourPoste against third-party claims arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your unlawful conduct, or (c) items you sent, carried, or requested. If you are a consumer, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law and only where the claim results from your own willful or negligent conduct. It does not apply to claims caused by our own negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you:
When we suspend or terminate an account, we will provide a Statement of Reasons (DSA Article 17) unless law prevents us, and a route of appeal by email to contact@yourposte.com. You may also delete your account yourself at any time in settings or by writing to contact@yourposte.com.
On termination, we may retain certain records where required by law or to defend legal claims, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Try to resolve disputes in the Platform chat first. If that fails, contact contact@yourposte.com. YourPoste may, at its discretion, review evidence and issue a non-binding recommendation. This does not prevent either party from bringing the matter before a competent court.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU / EEA:
If you are not a consumer, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Valencia, Spain.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect, by email or in-app notice. During that window you may terminate your account free of charge. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Where a legal change or urgent security issue requires it, we may update the Terms immediately, to the extent legally permitted.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid provision reflecting the original intent as closely as law allows.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and YourPoste regarding the Platform.
