How does YourPoste work?
Earn on trips you're already taking, send a package with a traveler, or get something bought abroad — here's how each one works.
Earn money traveling?
Already going somewhere? Use your spare space to carry items and earn money.
- Post your trip Add your route, dates and transport type.
- Browse orders See send and buy requests along your route. Filter by reward and size.
- Make an offer Send an offer to the sender. Chat to coordinate pickup details.
- Pick up & deliver Collect the item, carry it on your trip, and deliver at destination.
- Get paid The sender gives you the delivery code at handover. We pay your earnings to your bank account or chosen payout method. Paid after delivery is confirmed.
Need something from abroad?
Local sweets, a specific medicine, a product that doesn't ship to your country — ask a traveler to buy it and bring it to you.
- Describe the item Tell us what you want, where to buy it, and your maximum price.
- Get matched A traveler heading your way sees your request and makes an offer.
- Traveler buys it The traveler buys the item at the shop with their own money — a receipt photo builds trust. You've already paid the item price — or a deposit — up front.
- Receive your item Meet the traveler at the agreed delivery point and coordinate via in-app chat. If you paid only a deposit up front, you settle the rest in cash at handoff.
- Confirm with the delivery code Check the item, then share your 6-digit code — the platform releases the escrow to the traveler. Leave a review.
Sending something?
- Create your delivery Describe what you need shipped. Set your route, dates, and reward.
- Get matched Travelers heading your way will see your delivery and make offers.
- Accept an offer Review traveler profiles and ratings, then accept the best offer — your payment is held safely in escrow the moment you accept.
- Hand off your item Meet the traveler at pickup point. Coordinate via in-app chat.
- Confirm delivery Receive your item, check it, then share the 6-digit code with the traveler — that releases your escrowed payment. Then leave a review.
YourPoste Protection
- You pay when you accept an offer — nothing goes to the traveler yet.
- Your money is held safely in escrow by our secure payment provider while your item travels.
- You confirm delivery with the 6-digit code — that's what releases the traveler's payment. If something goes wrong, our team reviews the case and decides the refund.
- If the item is wrong, damaged, or never arrives, don't share the code — tell us and we'll review it. On Buy & Bring orders, going quiet after the traveler has bought your item isn't the same as raising a problem.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before getting started.
How do I get paid as a traveler?
When the sender or buyer pays for your accepted offer, the money is held in escrow. Once they give you the 6-digit delivery code and you enter it, your earnings — the reward minus the traveler fee, plus any item amount you paid — are sent to the payout method you set up on the My Earnings page. Paid after delivery is confirmed.
What can I send with YourPoste?
You can send documents, clothing, electronics, gifts, food, cosmetics, and more. All items must be legal and properly declared. Prohibited items include weapons, drugs, and hazardous materials. Some items — such as batteries, medicines, food and plants — are restricted, so check the list when you post.
Is it safe to send items with strangers?
Yes. Profiles show ratings and reviews from past deals, and members can verify their ID to get a badge. Every delivery is confirmed with a one-time code, and our team steps in if anything goes wrong.
Do I need an account to post?
Yes. Browsing trips and requests is open to everyone, but you need to sign in — with your email or an existing account — before posting a trip or a request.
Can a traveler offer less than my reward?
No. Offers are always at or above the reward you posted. You can send one counter-offer, which stays open for 48 hours or until the traveler departs, whichever comes first. An offer stays open until the traveler departs or for 72 hours, whichever comes first (extended once if you haven't opened the app yet, never past the departure); the offer shows its exact end time.
What is auto-accept?
An optional setting on a delivery order. When a trusted traveler — ID-verified or with a completed delivery — offers exactly your reward, the offer is reserved for you and you have 24 hours to pay. Nothing is charged until you pay.
When can I see the other person's phone number?
Only after the deal is paid, and only if they chose to share it. Before a deal, phone numbers and messaging handles are hidden in the chat, and photos can only be sent once the deal is paid. Keep everything in the app so your payment stays protected.
How does Buy & Bring work?
Buy & Bring is for items you can only find abroad — local sweets, a specific medicine, a product not shipped to your country. You post an order describing the item, where to buy it, and the maximum price. At checkout you pay the item price (or a deposit), the reward and a service fee, and the money is held until delivery. A traveler heading your way buys the item and brings it to you. Think of it as asking a friend to go shopping for you while they travel.
How does the traveler get reimbursed for the item they bought?
When you post a Buy & Bring order, you set the maximum price for the item. You pay that amount at checkout along with the reward and a service fee — or just a deposit (30, 50 or 70%), with the rest paid in cash at handover. The traveler buys the item with their own money, brings it to you, and once the delivery code is entered receives the reward minus the traveler fee, plus the item amount paid through the app. A receipt photo is recommended for trust.
Which currency do you use?
All prices and payments on YourPoste are in euros (€).
What if my item gets lost or damaged?
All deliveries are tracked through our deal system. If something goes wrong, you can open a dispute and our team will investigate and help resolve the issue.
What is the platform fee?
The sender or buyer pays a service fee at checkout, on top of the reward, worked out from the reward. For Buy & Bring it is also worked out from the item price, plus a payment-processing fee. The app shows the exact total before paying. Travelers pay a fee on the reward, deducted when they are paid and shown before they send an offer.
What payout methods can I receive?
Bank transfer to your IBAN, or another payout method available in your country. Set it up on the My Earnings page.
What happens if a delivery fails?
If the delivery fails — or the recipient refuses the package on the spot because it arrived wrong or damaged — the sender is refunded the reward and any item amount, and the service fee as explained in the cancellation question. The deal is closed and no payout is sent to the traveler. If there is a dispute, our team reviews the case and decides based on the evidence provided by both sides.
Can I cancel a deal, and what gets refunded?
Cancellations aren't self-service — please contact us at contact@yourposte.com or via in-app Support and our team will handle each request individually. When a deal is cancelled or doesn't complete, the amount you paid for the reward and any item-coverage is refunded to you. The YourPoste service fee is refunded when the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond your control — for example, the traveler can no longer deliver, or the item turns out to be unavailable. The service fee may not be refunded when the cancellation is caused by an omission on your side — for example, ordering an item that requires a document or authorisation you don't hold (such as a prescription medicine without a prescription). There is one exception, for buy-and-bring orders: once the traveler has already bought the item and uploaded proof of purchase, the item-coverage amount goes to the traveler if you abandon the order — you don't confirm delivery and don't tell us or the traveler that there is a problem within 7 days, or you refuse the item without a valid reason. The traveler keeps the item. Refusing an item that is damaged or not what you ordered is a valid reason and is handled as a dispute, not an abandonment. See section 13.3.1 of our Terms. Refunds are sent back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
What if the traveler can't find the item, or it costs more than my maximum?
Nothing is bought behind your back. Before the deal is confirmed, a traveler who sees the item is out of stock or above your maximum proposes a corrected price in their offer (a different item is agreed in the chat first, and you update your order), and you approve it when you accept — nothing is charged until then. After you've paid, the options are to deliver as agreed or to ask our team to cancel and refund (cancellations aren't self-service: contact@yourposte.com or in-app Support). The traveler is only reimbursed for what you approved, and your money stays in escrow until you confirm delivery with the delivery code.
How do I set up my payout method?
Go to "My Earnings", tap "Set up payout method", enter your IBAN or the details for your chosen payout method and the account holder name. You can change it anytime when no payout is in progress.
Is my bank information secure?
Yes. Your payout details are stored securely and are only visible to you and our payments team. Other users never see them.
Can I change my payout method later?
Yes, anytime from the My Earnings page — as long as no payout is currently in progress for one of your deals.
When am I charged, and how is my payment protected?
You pay when you accept a traveler's offer. The money is held in escrow, processed by our secure payment provider — the traveler isn't paid yet. It is released to them when you confirm delivery with the delivery code. There is one exception, for buy-and-bring orders: if the traveler has already bought your item and you then abandon the order, the item-coverage amount goes to them instead — see the cancellation question. If the delivery fails, our team reviews the case and decides the refund on the evidence from both sides.
What is the delivery code?
A one-time code tied to your delivery. You share it with the traveler only once you have received your item — entering it confirms delivery and releases the escrowed payment. Apart from the buy-and-bring exception explained in the payment question, nothing is paid out without your say-so.
What if the package is wrong or damaged when it arrives?
Inspect your package before you share the 6-digit code. If it arrived wrong or damaged, you can refuse it on the spot — with no penalty. The code is never shared, the escrow is not released, and your payment is returned to you.
Who's responsible for what?
The sender packs the item honestly and declares its contents accurately. The traveler carries it as agreed and hands it over intact. YourPoste holds the money in escrow and steps in to mediate if anything goes wrong.
How do I get notified, and where can I get help?
You get push notifications in our mobile apps, browser notifications on the website, and emails. Need help? Visitors can ask our AI assistant, signed-in members can contact Support from the menu, or you can email contact@yourposte.com.
