Questions

Which option is right for a small parcel?

For documents or a parcel under 2 kg the post office has a fixed public price, an express courier is faster but costs more and adds duties on arrival, and a traveler works when someone is already flying your way. Compare the three cells above for 1 kg.

Why is there no fixed price in the traveler column?

A traveler is not a carrier with a grid: the sender sets the reward and YourPoste adds a 10% service fee. The figure shown is the live median of open requests on this corridor, so it moves with demand.

Who handles customs?

With the post you fill a CN23 declaration and the recipient may pay duties. Express couriers clear customs for you and bill the recipient. Road agencies include groupage paperwork. A traveler carries the item as personal luggage, which is only right for personal items in normal quantities.

Are these the carriers’ official prices?

Where a carrier publishes a grid we quote it with its link and the date we checked. Where only a calculator or quote exists we say so instead of inventing a number. Comparison-site figures are labelled as such.
